Multiple OS in VPS Hosting
Our virtual private server plans include three Linux releases that you may choose from for the Operating System of your new server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Apart from being 100 % free, the OSs are very stable and safe and the main reason to offer all three of them is to ensure that you can run every application that you'd like, because different pieces of software have different requirements in terms of the environment they can be used on. Each one of the three OSs is backed by a huge community of web developers who have made many hundreds of software packages which you can install and use on your VPS. Based on the Operating System which you choose, you will also be able to choose between 3 different Control Panels to handle your website hosting content. Of course, should you decide that you need a new OS, we could always reinstall the server with it. As a paid upgrade, we also provide weekly updates of the OS for maximum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Web Hosting
The dedicated server plans that we offer come with as many as three different Operating Systems to choose from. They are all Linux distributions - Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian, and not only do they have no license charges, but they are also regarded as the most dependable and risk-free OSs. We supply three different ones as each one of them is supported by a different community. The packages which you can add on your hosting server are different and this may matter if you want to install some piece of software with specific requirements for the hosting environment. In this light, the web hosting Control Panel which you can select for the dedicated server also depends on the Operating System that you will choose. You can select any of the three Operating Systems during the order process, however if necessary, we can always set up the server anew with a different one upon your request. As an optional service that you may add to the plan whenever you want, we can update the OS on a regular basis so as to keep it as secure as possible.
